How to improve robotic process automation (RPA) reliability using repair with Copilot in Power Automate Desktop?
Microsoft released a very cool feature in Power Automate Desktop version 2.51. This feature enhances robotic process automation (RPA) reliability using repair with Copilot.
𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 & 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀:
✅ Reduces error rates and thereby improves efficiency
✅ Reduces downtime for RPA scenarios
✅ Applies for UI and web automation scenarios in both attended or unattended mode run and suggests fix for missing UI elements during execution or run time
✅ Users are allowed to review & confirm the suggested fix
✅ Makers can enable or disable “Repair flow error” feature.
✅ Its a preview feature that is available in US region environment.
Tutorial Videos:
🎬 In my video, I deep dive into understanding how with “𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝘀” feature #AI helps in detecting & fixing UI automations errors for desktop flow running in unattended mode. The Copilot suggests fix during flow execution by intelligently generating a valid selector for missing or invalid UI elements in web or UI automation.
Additionally, I also covered in this video:
▶️ Prerequisites for “Repair flow feature”
▶️ Example of data extraction from legacy win app (.exe)
▶️ View desktop flow actions detail logs from cloud portal
▶️ Options available in #Automation center while repairing errors, verify the details of action owner who applied the fix etc.
Learn how to use this feature in attended mode by following below video link
Here are my suggestions:
📌 It will be nice if users receive notification when a desktop flow waits for repairing action to complete. This will be very useful for scheduled based unattended automations that runs during non-business hours or outside of working hours.
📌 Another suggestion, if we can increase or decrease the default time out period allowed to repair the flow error.
